Refund policy

At Electronics Parts ("we," "us," "our"), we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This policy explains how returns, refunds, exchanges, and warranty claims work for replacement parts and accessories purchased from electronicsparts.io.

We ship to addresses within the United States and Canada. Orders are dispatched from our fulfillment partners located in the United States (for U.S. orders) and Canada (for Canadian orders).

1. Return Window

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return for most items, provided the item meets the conditions in Section 2 below.

Returns requested after 30 days will not be accepted unless the item is covered under our warranty (Section 10).

2. Items Eligible for Return

To qualify for a return, the item must be:

  • In new, unused, and uninstalled condition
  • In its original packaging with all seals, labels, and protective wrapping intact
  • Returned with all included accessories, manuals, and documentation
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase (order number, invoice, or order confirmation email)

3. Items That Cannot Be Returned

For hygiene, safety, and electrical safety reasons, the following items are non-returnable unless they arrive faulty or damaged:

  • Parts that have been installed, fitted, or attempted to be fitted
  • Items with broken seals, tampered packaging, or signs of use
  • Filters, brushes, soft rollers, and other consumable parts removed from sealed packaging
  • Items damaged by misuse, incorrect installation, or accident after delivery
  • Custom or special-order items
  • Gift cards

This does not affect your rights if the item is faulty, defective, or not as described.

4. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives faulty, damaged, defective on arrival (DOA), or different from what you ordered, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Your order number
  • A clear description of the issue
  • Photos or a short video of the item and its packaging

We will arrange a free replacement, exchange, or full refund, including return shipping, at no cost to you. You may also choose to keep the item and receive a partial refund where appropriate.

5. How to Start a Return

  1. Email support@electronicsparts.io within the return window with your order number and reason for return.
  2. We will respond within 2 business days with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and the appropriate return address (U.S. customers will receive a U.S. return address; Canadian customers will receive a Canadian return address).
  3. Pack the item securely in its original packaging, include the RMA number, and ship it back using a tracked service.
  4. Once we receive and inspect the item (typically within 3 business days of arrival), we will email you to confirm the outcome.

Please do not send items back without an RMA number. Unauthorized returns may be refused or delayed.

6. Return Shipping Costs

  • Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items: We cover the cost of return shipping and provide a prepaid return label.
  • Change-of-mind or no-longer-needed items: The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend a tracked and insured service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged in transit back to us.

7. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.
  • Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional 3 to 5 business days for the refund to post to your account.
  • You will receive an email confirmation when your refund has been processed.
  • Refunds are issued in the original payment currency. Currency conversion fees charged by your bank or card issuer are not refundable.

If more than 15 business days have passed since we confirmed your refund and you have not received it, please contact support@electronicsparts.io.

8. Restocking Fee

We do not charge a restocking fee for change-of-mind returns when items are returned in fully resalable condition.

9. Exchanges

If you need a different part, the fastest way is to return the original item for a refund and place a new order for the correct one. This avoids stock-availability delays.

10. Warranty

All parts sold by Electronics Parts are covered by a 12-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects, beginning on the date of delivery. The warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing faults
  • Premature failure under normal use

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage from incorrect installation, misuse, or modification
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage from accidents, drops, or liquid exposure
  • Items used outside their intended purpose

To make a warranty claim, contact us with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos or video. Approved claims will be resolved by repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion. This warranty is provided directly by Electronics Parts.

11. Order Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. We process and dispatch orders quickly through our fulfillment partners, so cancellation is only guaranteed if your order has not yet been shipped. Once shipped, please follow our standard return process.

12. Shipping & Delivery Issues

  • Lost packages: If tracking shows your package as delivered but you have not received it, please check with neighbors and your local carrier first, then contact us within 7 days. We will help open a claim with the carrier.
  • Damaged in transit: Photograph the package and contents immediately and contact us within 48 hours.
  • Wrong shipping address: Customers are responsible for entering the correct shipping address at checkout. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, we will refund the order minus any carrier fees we incur.

13. Reseller Notice

Electronics Parts is an independent retailer and is not affiliated with, authorized by, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with Dyson Ltd. or any of its subsidiaries. All product trademarks, names, and model numbers are the property of their respective owners and are used here for descriptive purposes only to identify compatible products.

Manufacturer warranties from Dyson Ltd. only apply to products purchased from Dyson directly or from Dyson's list of Authorized Retailers and Sellers. The limited warranty offered above is provided directly by Electronics Parts.
